The Northern California Chapter of ARCS Foundation, Inc. ("ARCS NCC") has invited a small number of distinguished Bay Area business leaders to join its Leadership Advisory Council. The purpose of the Council is to draw on its expertise to advance ARCS Foundation's mission of re-establishing America’s leadership in science. This is accomplished by funding academically outstanding U.S. citizens completing graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medical research.
The ARCS NCC Leadership Advisory Council helps to leverage a highly successful program by:
- Sharing ideas and best practices from the business world to increase the visibility of ARCS Foundation,
- Providing innovative thought to increase gifts to ARCS Foundation for scholar awards, and
- Serving as ambassadors to introduce others in their networks to ARCS Foundation.
